My hair has given me problems my whole life. I’ve got very thick frizzy curly hair and not easy to manage. I’m always on the look out for tips to manage my hair the best i can and to keep it healthy.
Apple Cider Vinegar is amazing for your hair growth as well as making your hair silky soft. Use 1 part apple cider to 2 parts water mixture to rinse your hair after shampooing. This will stimulate your hair and like we already mentioned hair stimulation makes hair grow much quicker.
With curly hair you don’t need to wash your hair everyday. the physical act of shampooing can be really hard on your hair because of all the scrubbing you’re doing and by roughing up the cuticle you could set yourself up for frizz. Natural oil is also really great for curly hair (especially if you have super thick hair) because it helps weigh your hair down a bit while keeping it smooth. Curly hair tends to be a bit more dry than straight hair so making sure you add in additional moisture will keep your hair looking its best.
Instead of drying your hair with a towel, use a t-shirt. Rubbing hair with a terry cloth towel can cause friction, leading to frizz and breakage, but with a cotton t-shirt, excess water is absorbed without any friction
Reduce Bed Hair – sleep on a satin or silk pillow case, it reduces bed hair, split ends and doesn’t rob your hair of moisture like cotton and it even better for your skin. Sleeping on a silk pillowcase can help to decrease the amount of breakage happening to your hair when you toss and turn throughout the night.
Dry shampoo not only absorbs excess oil in your hair, it also gives it volume. Even if your hair is squeaky clean, apply dry shampoo at the root to give it an extra lift.
To get your bobby pins to really stay in place, spray them with hairspray before putting them in your hair. The textured side of the bobby pin is actually the side that should rest against your head for optimal hold
Commerical shampoos, conditioners and styling products contain a lot of chemials.. Makes your hair look good now but in the long tern its dries out and damages your hair. Use a shampoo that doesnt contain sulfates and conditioners containing silicone.

Split ends occur at the tip of the hair, in which the hair splits into two or more strands The reason for hair split ends is due to excessive exposure to heat, lack of nourishment, bleaches and hair dyes, blow drying, straightening. Have split ends cut every 6 weeks.
