♥ TRIED & TESTED ♥ Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water {Product Review}

Hi Everyone

I am so excited to be reviewing this product. I didn’t do a review straight away as i wanted to give a complete and honest review. I’ve been using it for just over a month now and now the time is right to do just that

♥ WHAT THEY SAY    The new Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water has been designed for sensitive skin and is proven to be loved by all skin types. A perfect blend of science and skincare, with results that speak for themselves. Simply apply Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to a cotton pad and wipe across your skin for gentle and efficient cleansing. Use it to leave your skin feeling refreshed in the morning, and at night, to remove make-up and impurities. Perfect for dry and sensitive skin

What is Micellar Water?    Micellar Water contains ‘micelles’ which are microscopic oil spheres which act like magnets and capture and dissolve the impurities without stripping your skin. When you apply the product to your skin, the cleansing agents come into contact with oil and dirt on your face, allowing them to be swept away quickly and efficiently. Micellar cleansing water uses very gentle but effective cleansing agents. There is no tingling or tightening effect, and it’s powerful enough to remove eye makeup, so there is no need for a separate makeup remover.

♥ WHAT I SAY   I have seen so many reviews all over the web on this product. I didn’t want to do a post on it until i had tried it out. Well its been 1 month and i’m never looking back. I have a very sensitive that is prone to breakouts, so for a while now i haven’t been using anything besides baby wipes to remove my makeup before the cleansing stage as i thought the gentler the better. But since discovering the Garneir Micellar Water and using if over a little a month, i am hooked.

I found the even after removing my makeup with wipes when it came to the cleansing stage i still had a layer of makeup that didn’t remove properly, i never felt like my face was clean enough. Things have done a 180. The Micellar water (with a cotton pad) takes me makeup off with no hassles at all, i dare to say u could just splash your face with water and you done for the day. But with me being so OCD with my skin i would never suggest that lol.

I use about 3 cotton pads to get a complete cleanse over my face including my eyes, it easily removes my eyeliner and mascara without burning my eyes (the pink one) or drying out my skin. I then finish my skin routine with a mild scrub wash and a mask. This really is a great product and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. It comes to 2 types

  • Pink – Sensive Skin – it is alcohol, paraben and fragrance free
  • Aqua – Pure Active – Combination to Oily Skin for acne prone or problematic skin – it contains denatured alcohol which helps combat overactive sebacious glands eith causes skin to be oily
