♥ CELLTONE ♥ Luxury Skin Care Range {review}

Hi Everyone

I was recently sent a range of products from Celltone. I was most excited to try the Luxury Face Care Range. It consists of a 6 step routine: Face Wash, Exfoliator, Cleanser, Toner, Mask, and Moisturiser. Its not going to be a very in depth detailed review as i’ve only been testing out this range for 2 weeks now but i did want to share my thoughts with all of you

What i love is that this whole range is Paraben and Perfume free and they are all enriched with the Celltone Snail Extract

ABOUT CELLTONE   Celltone is a unique skin care range made with Snail Gel extract. This global phenomena taps into one of nature’s beautiful secrets. Celltone’s range of innovative products gives everyone the opportunity to be their most beautiful self. Many years ago, snail farm workers discovered that while harvesting snails, their hands became softer, smoother and younger looking. From this, our formulation was derived, a skin care range, using the wonders of nature to leave your skin looking and feeling radiant. Nature,we believe is still the best laboratory

♥ Step 1: FACE WASH ♥

WHAT THEY SAY   Celltone Moisturising Face wash contains mild surfactants to cleanse and remove residue on the skin.  It is rich in Vitamins E & B5. Its infused with Chamomile, Jasmine and Witchazel Extracts to moisturise and condition the skin.

WHAT I SAY   This facial wash i used daily, morning and night. Most facial washes make your face feel squeaky clean, like all the natural oil has been stripped from your face. Celltone didn’t do that all at which i loved! It cleansed my face while making it feel hydrated and moisturised at the same time.

♥ Step 2: EXFOLIATOR ♥

WHAT THEY SAY   Celltone Invigorating Exfoliating Cream Scrub is a creamy exfoliator containing fine bamboo exfoliating particles, Vitamins A and E and Moisturising Extracts. Deeply cleanses to unblock pores and clear away impurities. Refines and smoothes rough and dead skin without scratching the skin. Infused with Rose Oil..

WHAT I SAY   You will all know when my previous posts that i love a good exfoliator. So i couldn’t wait to try this one. I generally expect exfoliators to be very grainy, but this one surprised me. It was very gentle with very fine exfoliating particles. It was very creamy and moisturising on my skin. I use this 3 times a week,

♥ Step 3: CLEANSER ♥

WHAT THEY SAY   Celltone Cleansing lotion is a soap free cleanser containing a medley of soothing extracts and actives. Gently removes residue, perspiration and make up. Infused with Vitamins B5, E and C

WHAT I SAY   I’ll be honest, I’ve never really used a soap free cream cleanser, so this was something new for me. I put some of the product on a cotton pad and cleansed my face, Again, and why i’m surprised, another product that left my skin feeling cleansed yet very moisturised. Its like a 2nd cleanse to make sure all your makeup / residue is completely off your skin. I use this daily.

♥ Step 4: TONER ♥

WHAT THEY SAY  Celltone Toner is Alcohol-free and gentle on the skin. Contains an anti-bacterial active; triclosan. Infused with Rose water, Oat and Wheat extracts to moisturise the skin. Mild on the skin and gently removes any traces of the cleanser. Formulated to soothe irritated skin and neutralises the pH of the skin

WHAT I SAY   I’ve always, through my life used a Toner. Most toners tend to burn the skin, but that comes down to the alcohol content. I love that this toner is alcohol free, so no burning and again it doesn’t feel like all the natural oils have been stripped from my skin.  I use this daily.

♥ Step 5: MASK ♥

WHAT THEY SAY   Celltone Hydrating Mask is formulated to replace lost moisture and hydration in skin. Infused with moisturising actives, elastin, collagen, keratin and vitamins to restore skin’s natural elasticity. Long lasting effect on improving skin hydration and cell regeneration. Attracts moisture molecules to the surface leaving the skin hydrated

WHAT I SAY   I love a good mask, you guys all know i am an addict when it comes to buying and trying new face masks. This mask was a surprise for me, as i’m used to using the “cloth” masks, peel masks or clays masks. This mask is very different. All the other masks i use are meant to draw out impuities of skin and what i love is that the celltone mask is there to do the opposite. Its there to moisturise the skin, replace what ever moisture your skin has lost. I left my skin feeling so soft and hydrated. I use this 3 times a week.

WHAT THEY SAY   Celltone Daily Moisturiser contains a medly of oils, Argan, Calendula and Olive. It contains UVA & UVB sunscreen filters. Enriched with Anti-Oxidants and Vitamins A, B3, C & E to soften and moisturise the skin. Use daily to rehydrate the skin and fight free radical scavenges.

WHAT I SAY   Last but not least is the Moisturiser. It contains a SPF 15 which is always a bonus when a brand has a “2-in-1”. This moisturiser was a hit in my book. Even though it contains 3 types of oils (Argan, Calendula & Olive) it didn’t leave my skin feeling oily or greasy. It feel moisturised and i could happily apply in under my makeup.

MINI REVIEW   This range is a travel size bottles (50ml) that come in a small clear travel bag (toiletry bag). Its only been 2 weeks that I’ve been using this range and i can see and feel a small difference already. My oils feels a lot more moisturised with no dry patches yet saying that it feels less oily. When i have an off day from work during the week (i work weekends) i try stay home to get cleaning or blog posts done for the week and while i’m home i don’t wear makeup at all. Normally after a few hours my skin feels very oily but in the last 2 weeks i haven’t had that feeling. Also i think my scars from when i had bad skin have faded slightly, i even left the house the other day WITHOUT makeup! I have never ever done that. Lastly i haven’t had a single breakout, I’ll be honest and say i haven’t had my monthlys yet, so i think that will be the ultimate test.

Celltone products are available at Clicks, Dischem, Game and Red Square stores
