♥ MAKEUP REVOLUTION ♥ Mermaids Forever Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hi Everyone

I am sooooo excited to be reviewing this eyeshadow palette. I was kindly sent this palette by Pink Cosmetics to test and review for all you lovely ladies. They import all International brands not available to us in South Africa.

The Makeup Revolution Ultra 32 Shade Eyeshadow Palette named “Mermaids Forever” is everything you could ever want in just 1 eyeshadow palette with shimmers, mattes and metallics. It has nudes for a natural look, browns and blacks for a smokey look and for the brave, brights colours that scream sealife with lots of pinks, oranges, greens and blues.

ABOUT:   Mermaids are Forever, with our Palette that you can create looks that must come only from Folklore! The Mermaids came ashore to bring us their aquatic beauty in this mesmerising palette. Containing 32 shades in our ULTRA Professional Formulation, with our huge mirror. Be Legendary. Be Revolutionary.

Forever, Myth and Song were disappointing colours, great texture not chalky at all but the colour payoff wasn’t great. Bay wasn’t too bad and can be used for a nude look as well as highlight on your browbone. Mermaids, Fishtail and Treasure are great colours with good pigmentation. Imagine was one of the disappointing colours with poor pigmentation.

Seashell is a another great colour for a nude look, and ive even used it as a semi highlighter on my cheek bones. Creature, Magic and Urchin are again colours with poor colour payoff. Sea, Land, Kingdom, Harmony have great pigmentation and are gorgeous colours. For someone who doesn’t wear bright colours on my lids i love the colour Land

Enchant is another colour with poor pigmentaion. Starfish is super bright and so gorgeous. Pretty and Princess are pretty colours with ok colour payoff. Waves is bright, bold and beautiful. Turtle is honestly not a colour i would wear as i just don’t like Olive greeb in any form. Mineral and Prince are highly pigmentated and are great to wear for a night out

Future is one of the lighter colors that has a high pigmentation and i love using it in the corner of my eyes. Ariel and Pink Sea are my 2 favourite colours in the palette. They are so rich and bold. Ocean is another ok colours with ok colour payoff. Splash, Undersea, Seabed and Whale are highly pigmentated and are perfect for dramatic looks and nights out.

Overall this palette is great for everyone whether you like subtle looks or dramatic smokey looks. There is something for everyone.

This palette is available locally from Pink Cosmetics for R 400.00 as well as other International makeup brands, body products, face scrubs, bath bombs and more – view all there products HERE

For my international readers from Tam Beauty/Superdrug (UK) for  £ 8.00 or at  Ulta (USA) for $ 15.00

Hope you enjoyed my review
