💅🏻 MANICURE MONDAY 💅🏻 Morgan Taylor Beauty & The Beast mini collection

Hi Everyone

Happy Workers Day! Most of you are probably off today due to the public holiday, but I’ve been at work since 6am. Hope you all having a great day!

Morgan Taylor has previously bought out a Disney inspired collection (in 2015 it was for the Cinderella movie) and have now released another collection, this time inspired by the new live action remake of the classic Disney movie, “Beauty and the Beast”. I have always been, from a very young age and always will be, a Disney fan, especially the old classic’s like Beauty & The Beast, Snow White, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella and Aladdin.

This collection has 6 colours and 1 top coat. I bought the mini collection from Dis-Chem, which includes 3 colours and the top coat.

The Last Petal – A bright and rich cherry red with a punch of shimmer, its my favourite colour of the collection. I can see this colour being inspired by the Red Rose. I applied 2 thin coats for full opacity.

Plumette With Excitement – A light baby pink crème. The formula was a bit streaky with application, but with a top coat it smooth’s it out. Its a classic baby pink. Its fully opaque with 2 think coats.

Potts Of Tea – A pale icy white polish with a grey undertone and a slight pink & gold shimmer if you catch it in the right light. Its fully opaque after 2 coats and a top coat. Definitely inspired by gentle and nurturing mother (Teapot), Mrs Potts.

Enchanted Patina – The top coat of the collection to give a bronzed antique look to all the polishes, I personally prefer this colour on its own and not as a top coat as it makes all the polishes look almost the same. Its fully opaque after 2 coats and a top coat. I found it slightly streaky but sorted with a clear top coat. Inspired by the Lumiere (Candelabra) and Cogsworth (Clock)

Colours not in the mini collection

Be Our Guest – Pink Salmon crème

Days In The Sun – A Bright Buttercup Yellow with a slight pinky peach shimmer. Its personally not my favourite colour, but non the less its a beautiful colour, so I might be tempted to buy and try this colour. Its inspired by Bell’s ballgown

Gaston And On And On – Light pastel blue crème. Inspired by Belle’s blue everyday dress.

This mini collection or the full size bottles are available from selected Dis-Chem stores. The mini collection sells for R299.99 and each full size bottles sells for R 149.00

What is your favourite colour of the collection?
