Hope you all had a good week and have an even better weekend. This is the latest I’ve put up a favourites post, but with everything going on in my life I’m surprised it went up at all. I am STILL waiting to see if I have been approved to the flat I applied for, and I have to be out my house in 2 weeks and 3 days. Talk about cutting it fine.
My favourites this month consist of the new Morgan Taylor range, an amazing face scrub/wash/mask, a vibrant eyeshadow palette, a beautiful perfume, a body oil, fuzzy boot slippers and a TV show
Morgan Taylor – Beauty & The Beast Nail Polish Collection.
I was so excited for this range to come out as im such a big (old school) Disney Fan especially when one my favourite nail polish brands release a collection from one of my favourite Disney movies. I didn’t get the full size range, I bought the mini collection which consists of a gorgeous red inspired by the red rose called “The Last Petal”, a light pink called “Plumette With Excitement” named after the Feather Duster (in the original movie her name was Fifi), a grey white inspired by the motherly Mrs Potts called “Potts Of Tea” and the the antique top coat called “Enchanted Patina” inspired by Lumiere (Candelabra) and Cogsworth (Clock)which I actually prefer as a colour on its own, The collection also consists of a yellow called “Days In The Sun”, a salmon pink called “Be Our Guest” and “Gaston And On And On” a light blue

Garnier Pure Active Intensive 3 in 1 Charcoal Anti-Blackhead Wash, Scrub & Mask
The all-new 3 in 1 weapon against even the most resistant blackheads & spots. Our innovative formula can be used as a wash, scrub and mask to visibly reduce the appearance of blackheads, and help to protect against their reappearance.
I have been using this for about a month now and loving it. I love that it can be used as a gentle face wash, a scrub – it has tiny exfoliating particles and as a mask, you apply a thin layer and leave it on until it dries and turns a lighter colour. I love charcoal. Since I started using charcoal products my skin has started feeling and looking so great. I haven’t had a single breakout.

Winter Boot Slippers
I’m always on the look out for warm comfy slippers in when winter comes around and when I spotted these cute grey black fluffy slippers from Pick n Pay Clothing they were in my basket. I love that they have little reindeers on them. They are so warm!

Enjoy a complete pampering experience with NIVEA Shower Pampering Oil. Enriched with 55% natural oils, it mildly cleanses and gently cares for your skin, leaving it soft, smooth and irresistible. Ultra-moisturing for dry skin.
I have honestly never used a shower oil before. I think it all started with Lush, with the bath ballistic’s infused with various oils. Now my skin isn’t limited to soaking up oils with just a bath, I can now get my fix with this Nivea Shower oil. There is nothing better than skin feeling soft and silky.

I was lucky enough to get invited to a bloggers event for Elemis in Cape Town and this was one of the products we received. The Skin Buff, a gentle yet deep cleansing exfoliator which is gentle enough to use daily. I am pedantic when it comes to my skin, I tripled cleanse and this skin buff is step 2 at the moment. It leaves my skin feeling properly cleansed and soft.

Makeup Revolution Mermaids Forever Eyeshadow Palette
Mermaids are Forever, with our Palette that you can create looks that must come only from Folklore! The Mermaids came ashore to bring us their aquatic beauty in this mesmerising palette. Containing 32 shades in our ULTRA Professional Formulation, with our huge mirror. Be Legendary. Be Revolutionary
I am such a fan of Makeup Revolution products and it saddens my heart that you can’t just walk into a Clicks or Dis-Chem store, pick it up off the shelf and take it home. Makeup Revolution is a UK Cosmetics brand. I first found out about them when a friend told my about an online store called Superdrug. Its very much like Dis-Chem. A friend was flying down from UK to SA. I placed an order, received my package and the rest is history.
There are now small SA companies, like Pink Cosmetics, that ship in Makeup Revolution and other brands not available in South Africa so we can be blessed with amazing eyeshadow palettes like the Mermaids Forever. I usually stick to nude colours but when I was kindly sent this eyeshadow from Pink Cosmetics to try I was a bit nervous but WOW these colours are beautiful and I love using this palette. Ive become braver with colour and the quality is great!

Vera Wang – Lovestruck
Is described as a sparkling, addictive floral, young in spirit yet classic. It was inspired by a modern day version of the story of Romeo and Juliet. Lovestruck opens with notes of exotic and juicy pink guava and soothing angelica blossom. The middle notes “bloom” with tones of intoxicating and sensual tuberose with aquatic lotus flower. Precious woody notes and sheer musk form a solid perfume base.
I bought his perfume over a year ago and because I’ve been obsessed with another perfume, it was just sitting on my stand looking all pretty but given no love. I eventually decided to start using it and I love it. Now I remember why I bought it lol. It has a sweet floral scent with top notes of Pink Guava and Mandarin Orange, middle notes of Tuberose, Lutus Blossom and Angelica and finishing off with base notes of Vanilla, Sandalwood and Sheer Musk.
