πŸ’— FAVOURITE BUYS πŸ’— December 2017

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all enjoying my favourite’s posts for 2017 through out the whole year so far. Today is a mixed bag of my favourite BUYS just from December.

In the reading and book category is books from 2 book series and a book subscription box…

I finally completed my “A Song of Ice & Fire” collection (of the books that are already released). I found some of the books at a 2nd hand book shop, in brilliant condition and the one’s i couldn’t find i ordered off Readers Warehouse

I bought both Hardcover books from the Three Dark Crown series – Three Dark Crowns and One Dark Throne from Raru Shopping after hearing great things about it. I think i read both books in a week, i really enjoyed them. I believe there are another 2 books coming out in this series. So waiting on those.

Another BIG favourite is my 2nd order from The Bookcase. The Bookcase is a monthly book and bookish items box available in South Africa. You basically pay R450 for a box that includes an anticipated book (hardcover or paperback) and sometimes you even get 2 books! with bookish items like vinyl stickers / jewellery / badges / naiil art / art work / bookmarks and on the rare occasions, Funko Pops!

You can view their website here The Book Case

On the beauty side of it…

My re-purchase of my ultimate to go Gel Eyeliner from LA Girl, honestly the best eyeliner i have ever used. It highly pigmented and does not budge even on those hot days. Its available from Dis-Chem stores, when i pop into Dis-Chem i usually grab 2-4 pencils as they tend to sell out very quickly especially in my colour “Very Black”

My ultimate buy last month and most anticipated was this fragrance byΒ Β Giorgio Armani called “Si”. It ones of my all time favourite scents. Si’s notes compromise of Citrus scents like Mandarin, Bergamot and Cassis, Floral scents of May Rose and Freesia, and completing it with Blonde Woods, Patchouli, Vanilla and Amber for warm woody scents. Its available from Red Square, Edgars and Woolworths.

The last one in the beauty category is a great find (in Dis-Chem) is the wonderful duo of makeup sponges from Cala. The purple egg shaped sponge is the closest sponge is have ever used in comparison to the original beauty blender and the bonus of the smaller coral sponge is perfect for blending concealer under the eye area.

Last but not least maybe we can call this the lifestyle category…

Something i need to organize my life especially with my full time job (i work shifts) as well as having my blog so i can plan my posts for specific days etc is a Diary Planner. I live for these as they are easier than notebooks as the inners can be replaced each month / year. I used to buy from somewhere else before but it cost R600-700. I spotted these gorgeous ones at CNA for only R299 with inners and beautiful dividers. Previous months i bought the mint and pink one an in December i bought his gold one. Im hoping to get more colours, maybe they will release a lilac, yellow or even rose gold one ???

I know its summer but i’ve never really owned comfortable cute sneakers so when i saw these Viva Ashlyn sneakers in white (and the pink ) at Footgear for only R5oo for both!!! i had to have them. They are a small make so i had to take a 7 but they are great. I’ve been wearing them almost everyday.

Lastly are my gorgeous Rubi sunglasses i bought from Cotton On. They have a special in store where you can choose any, yes any, 2 pairs of sunglasses for only R250. How cute are these?!

Hope you enjoyed my favourite buys post for December. I would love to hear what your favourites were for December, so leave my a comment below

xoxo
