πŸ’— MASCARA MONDAY πŸ’— Catrice – Glamour Doll Volume Waterproof Mascara

Hi Everyone

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Im officially back at work as of today and really not happy about it lol. Wish i could blog and write full time from home but alas the bills need to be paid

Today i’m reviewing the Catrice Glamour Doll Volume Waterproof Mascara. I don’t often buy Catrice Mascara’s as i have a long standing love affair with Essence Mascara’s but every now and then i like to try a Catrice Mascara and i have a couple favourites from Catrice

ABOUTΒ  Β  Waterproof Doll Eyes,Β Make your doll eyes last super long with the Glam & Doll Volume Mascara Waterproof. Its special elastomer brush captures a large amount of texture to cover each individual lash without weighing it down. The results: extra volume, fascinating length and a unique curl – all day long! Opthalmologically tested.

MY REVIEWΒ  Β  This Mascara is amazing but i don’t think it lives up to the volume part – which is fine for me – as i find it falls more in the category of a lengthening mascara, which i generally like to start out with. The type of Mascara wand head is an avergae width with small short bristles which are perfect for lengthening and separating each lash.

For the volume i would then go in with a different Mascara that has an oversized wand size to get the desired volume.

When i tend to work an AM shift (i apply my makeup at 05:00 and then take it off at night roughly 20:00) – through the day no smudging occurs nor any fallout with this Mascara and it stays for a good 15hrs.

Ive also bought the Blackest False Lashes (Lilac tube), the Curl & Volume (Purple tube) and received the Sculpt & Volume (Rose Gold tube) in a press drop and i love them as well.

Catrice products available from Dis-Chem and Red Square Stores as well as online at Takealot.com

This particular Mascara sells for R 79.95 at Dis-Chem and R 79.00 at Takealot.com
