Hi
In the beginning when falling in love with makeup and starting my blog my eyebrows were never a thing I focused a lot of time on. I loved my eyeshadows and all my lip products. Its only in the last couple of years that i LOVE doing my eyebrows, and i love doing full thick eyebrows, that why i hardly plucked. I’m lucky as i was never a big plucker so my eyebrows are still generally full. I just like to define them a bit and fill them in.
I was sent a gorgeous package last year which included L’Oreal, Maybelline and Garnier products. In the package, I received a Brow pen which has quickly become a staple in my daily makeup routine. I received 4 colours: 101 Blond, 105 Brunette, 108 Warm Brunette and 109 Ebony. Warm Brunette suits me the best of the 4 colours. Its the perfect shade for me.
Introducing new L’Oréal Paris Brow Artist Micro Tattoo Eyebrow Definer, inspired by the art of microblading to help you design your most perfect, natural-looking brows. Now you can get the microbladed brow look, without the commitment. The micro-trident tip mimics the application of microblading for natural, hair-like strokes. The ink formula lasts up to 24 hours without smudging or budging.
The head of the pen looks like a short miniature fork. I was very taken back when i saw it as I’ve only ever used wand applicators (like a mini mascara), a definer that looks like a liquid eyeliner and a brow pomade. I was a bit apprehensive yet intrigued at the same time.
I use the fork like head to create hair like stroke to define and fill my brows. I love the look it achieves, its very natural without looking like you plastered a heavy load of product on. The only downside to it, is that if you have already put on your foundation, I honestly prefer doing my foundation first before i do my eyes or brows, then the applicator tends to pick up product and the colour from the brow pen isn’t as intense. So i find i need to clean it while i’m busy.
Other than that, this Brow Pen Definer has made its way onto my permanent list of products in my collection. I checked both Clicks and Dis-Chem – both dont sell this anymore. I saw that it is avail on Takealot for R129.00
Ohh I look how its has that fork look at the end! I’ve never heard of these before i’m definitely going to try one out.
