Hi Everyone
Hope you all having a great week so far. I have been sooooo excited to do a review on these beauties. I ordered them in August last year but they only arrived in November as I had to wait for a friend to fly from the UK to SA – customs are ridiculous
When I ordered the highlighters, they only had 4 shades – Peach, Ice, Golden Highlighters and the Bronze Kiss. I popped onto the Revolution website yesterday and saw a few new ones: Star – an ice blue, Champagne – golden champagne, Sun – a deep bronze, Rose Gold – rose gold shade, Prismatic – an iridescent pink and lilac shade, Pink – light pink shade and Frozen – an icy silver.
I will be honest what caught my eye about these highlighters were the packaging but it takes nothing away from the quality of Revolution products. I am so happy that I ordered these when I did as I noticed recently that they have changed the packaging, they now have transparent covers
I am so in love with the packaging, from the gorgeous coppery rose gold colour to the sturdiness of the actual compact. It’s so big and I love that they have given us a big mirror in the inside top lid. Most highlighters I own from other brands are between 4g and 9g but Makeup Revolution kicks butt here with a 14g Highlighter.
Golden Kiss is a beautiful golden champagne shade
Peach Kiss is a Pinky Rose Gold shade – I don’t own any highlighters that are close to this shade
Ice Kiss is a Bright White Shade that packs a punch
Bronze Kiss is a subtle bronzer that adds a touch of shimmer. FYI – I clearly didn’t read properly when purchasing this as I thought it was a powder, not a cream. But I still love it
With one sweep of a brush on the product, it gives you a subtle glow, you can add another sweep for a bit of extra shine, this product is incredibly buildable so watch out if you are going to go for a third sweep lol
The highlighters hardly have any fall out, they aren’t chalky nor do they feel glittery which I can’t stand, instead they are shimmery with a soft and creamy powder finish
Again Makeup Revolution can do no wrong. I would repurchase these again!
They are currently on sale on Revolution Beauty website for £2.50 (normal price £5.00).
xoxo
