Hi Everyone

Hope you all having a great start to the week. Today I’m reviewing the L’Oreal Infallible Stick Foundation. I’ve only ever tried 1 stick foundation – the Makeup Revolution Fast Base Foundation Stick and did a review on it back in October last year (HERE) So I was really excited to try another. I have been a big fan of the both L’Oreal Infallible Matt Foundation as well as my holy grail Infallible 24H Stay Fresh Foundation.

I was sent 4 shades in a PR pack by L’oreal to test out: Vanilla (130), Natural Rose (140), Cappuccino (210) and Toffee Caramel (220). I’m honestly not the biggest fan of stick foundations, as I worry how hygienic they are. A foundation in a bottle with a pump action is. But if you having a bad month with your skin and you apply the product directly to your skin, won’t you be spreading the impurities. I guess if you use an antibacterial spray on your products or just take a really thin layer off from the top, then it should be fine? Sorry I’m babbling now lol.

Cover, define, and enhance your features with the new Infallible Shaping Sticks from L’Oréal Paris. Achieve a perfectly sculpted look with buildable, medium to full coverage that lasts up to 24 hours. The creamy, glide-on formula of Infallible Shaping Sticks melts into skin and provides weightless, long-lasting coverage that doesn’t cake or drag. This multi-use stick allows you to easily define features without sacrificing longwear coverage. Infallible Shaping Sticks are available in 12 shades to cover, conceal, contour, and highlight features. Discover your perfectly defined makeup look that lasts all day and night

I’ve been solidly using this stick foundation for the past month. It’s so convenient with no messing or spillage from a bottle or tube. The formula off the stick foundation is ultra creamy and glides on the skin beautifully. I was worried it was going to be oily, as a lot of stick foundations tend to be oily BUT this one is not! The foundation sets to a velvety finish without the greasiness or oiliness. The coverage is also amazing without looking cakey and thick. I use the Real Techniques Flat Control brush to blend the foundation.

In the last month, over the weekends I really put this foundation stick to the test. I’ve been working double shifts, so I’ve applied my makeup at around 5am and then got home between 9pm and 10pm. I prep my skin before with a serum, primer and moisturizer and also finish off my makeup with a setting spray. The staying power of this foundation is amazing and has become a firm favourite. Both the lighter colours suit me, so I go in with both shades and use either Cappuccino or Toffee Caramel when contouring.
